Tyler J. Pratt is an associate attorney with Kavanagh, Scully, Sudow, White & Frederick, P.C. He is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois and before the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois.

A native of Racine, Wisconsin, Tyler received his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois, in 2007, where he graduated magna cum laude. While attending St. Francis, he played college baseball under legendary coach Gordie Gillespie. Tyler continues to be active in baseball and is an Assistant Baseball Coach at Metamora Township High School, Metamora, Illinois.

Tyler received his Juris Doctorate from Valparaiso University School of Law, located in Valparaiso, Indiana, where he graduated cum laude. During law school, he was a member of Valparaiso University's Law Review, served as an extern for Federal Judge Rudolph T. Randa in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and worked for the U.S. Attorney's Office in Hammond, Indiana. He also served as a teaching assistant for Valparaiso University's Legal Writing Department and a research assistant to Professor Michael Murray.

A member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Peoria County Bar Association and its Young Lawyer Committee, Tyler also participates in the Pen Pal program at Trewyn Middle School in Peoria.
