Elizabeth T. Arcot is a Partner/Shareholder with Kavanagh, Scully, Sudow, White & Frederick, P.C. She is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois.

A native of Peoria, Elizabeth is a 2004 graduate of Richwoods High School. Following high school, she attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

Elizabeth received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa College of Law. She has additional study in law through Trinity University in Dublin, Ireland and Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic. During law school, she served as Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of Corporation Law and authored an article in the area of international intellectual property law.

Elizabeth practices in trust and estate law, financial planning, real estate, and corporate planning.  She specializes in landlord/tenant law, estate/trust litigation, and residential/commercial real estate. Elizabeth regularly litigates matters in court.

Elizabeth is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Peoria County Bar Association.   She currently serves as co-chair of Prairie State Legal Services' Campaign Committee and is a trustee on the board of the Peoria Historical Society. She resides in Peoria with her husband and son.

Brian Mooty is a member of the law firm of Kavanagh, Scully, Sudow, White and Frederick P.C.

Brian was admitted to the practice of law in Illinois in 1986. He concentrates his practice in real estate law and represents both buyers and sellers of residential and commercial real estate. Brian also assists many clients with commercial real estate issues including sales and acquisitions, leasing, property tax assessments and exemptions, development, subdivisions, zoning, environmental problems and status of title and title insurance. Brian's real estate practice also includes public housing and the development of mixed finance affordable housing and local government law. Brian's firm is an agent of the Attorneys Title Guarantee Fund and he has personally acted as title agent on numerous transactions and has issued many real estate title commitments and title policies as a title agent. He has an extensive practice assisting landlords with leasing and evictions. Brian also represents condominium and homeowners associations.

Brian serves on the Methodist Hospital Board and was on the executive committee of the Neighborhood House for years.

Brian has been active in the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce and a graduate of the Chamber's Community Leadership School and Political Action School, Brian served as a Chamber Ambassador, as a member of the Chamber's Government committee. Brian was also a member of the Peoria Jaycees for several years including serving as the chapter's Management Vice President. Brian has also been a volunteer for the Nature Conservancy. He is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Peoria and his family is a member of Illinois Wildlife Prairie State Park and Lakeview Museum.

Gary received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and History from Denison University in 1974 and his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1977. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois.

Gary joined Kavanagh, Scully, Sudow, White & Frederick, P.C. as an Associate in 1978. In 1982, he became Of Counsel to the Firm to accept the position of President and Trust Officer of a local bank. He rejoined the Firm full time in 1993 and became a Member of the Firm in 1995. Gary is a Board Member of the Central Illinois Estate Planning Council. His practice is focused on estate planning and administration, real estate, taxation and business organizations.

An area native, Gary is a graduate of East Peoria Community High School. He and his wife, Trina, reside in Peoria Heights. Gary is  a member of the East Peoria Rotary Club, serves on the City of Peoria Sister City Commission, and is currently Secretary of the Friends of Clonmel.
