Lori runs the back end of the firm. Lori has a bachelor's of Business Administration from Midstate College with an Associate's degree in Accounting so she is perfectly positioned to keep the business side of law up and running. Lori grew up in Washington, raised her son in Morton, and now resides in East Peoria. She is most likely who you will be dealing with if you are an outside sales person or contractor dealing with the firm.
Thresa is the friendly face you will see at our front desk. And in case you are wondering, it is not Teresa, it is pronounced TH (as in three); res (as in the end of the word dress); a. Thresa has been with us for almost twenty-six years. She knows our attorneys, most opposing attorneys, many of the judges in town, our staff and, most importantly for us, our procedures. She also knows our clients!
Laurie is a paralegal and in that capacity will work on projects for all of the attorneys in the firm. Additionally, Laurie is the legal assistant and paralegal for Bruce Thiemann. Laurie is an avid supporter of Whitney's Walk for Life and on weekends she steps back in time to the Civil War Era as a member of the Central Illinois Civil War Dance Society.
Patrice is the legal assistant for Brian Mooty, Jim Hafele and Jim Springer. Patrice has over 17 years of experience working in civil litigation with vast experience in personal injury and workers' compensation litigation. Patrice is an expert at drafting pleadings and briefs and is used as a paralegal by all the attorneys at the firm as necessary.
Michelle is the Paralegal and Legal Assistant for Bob Gates and is the point person for Elizabeth Arcot's eviction work. Michelle joined our team at the conclusion of her education in paralegal studies at Illinois Central College. Prior to finishing her degree, Michelle worked in the mortgage, customer service, and food service industries.
Mandee is the legal assistant and paralegal for Karen Stumpe and Ann Pieper. Mandee has extensive experience as a paralegal, most recently, for Judge Sean Donahue prior to his appointment to the bench. Mandee is a paralegal for litigation, family law, criminal law, and estate administration and planning.
Mandee is also a multi-book published fiction author.
Neda and Josh work with us as a file clerks helping to keep out files, systems and office in order as well as delivering those items that must be received, filed or picked up today. Neda and Josh also work reception when needed and are available for any special projects for research and administration. Neda and Josh are both Bradley students considering legal careers (Neda, in fact, is accepted to law school and will be starting this fall!)
